1st. MEXICAN CONGRESS ON POSTCARDS

Invitation to Paper Presenters

 

Interested parties are invited to present a paper during the 1st. MEXICAN CONGRESS ON POSTCARDS by sending their proposals to the Conference Organizing Committee according to the following guidelines:

 

1- Papers should have a specific theme related to Mexican postcards.

 

2- Papers of 20 minutes length (maximum) should be prepared using Power Point as visual support. If you require further information or support in preparing a Power Point presentation, please contact the Organizing Committee.

 

3- A summary of the proposed paper should be sent to the Organizing Committee as soon as possible with a deadline of June 30, 2008, by email to the following address: tarjetaspostales.congreso@gmail.com with a copy to fjelizon@hotmail.com. If you do not receive acknowledgement of receipt within two days, please contact the Organizing Committee. The Committee will advise acceptance of proposed papers by July 7.

 

4- In order to prepare the Congress Proceedings, the full and completed version of the paper should be sent by email as a Word document to the Organizing Committee by July 31 at the latest.

 

5- Once the paper proposals have been received, the final program for the event will be determined by the Organizing Committee and published on Internet by August 2.

 

6- Lecturers should turn in their Power Point presentations, or connect their own computer to the audiovisual system, at least half an hour before their presentation. If special audiovisual equipment is required, please contact the Organizing Committee before the Congress.

 

7- If papers are in English, the presenter should send it in Power Point via email by August 9 at the latest so that it can be translated into Spanish; otherwise, it is understood that each presenter accepts the responsibility of bringing his Power Point presentation in Spanish, even if the verbal exposition is in English.

 

8- Business attire is recommended, and expositors are urged to stay within their time limits as a courtesy to the other presenters and the public in attendance.

 

9- For any aspect not considered in this procedure, please consult the Organizing Committee.
